"Oh my gosh, this place is a hidden gem. The pictures do NOT do it justice at all!! We were blown away by our accommodations when we arrived. First, we were just expecting a bedroom and bathroom. We got a lovely kitchen, a sitting room, giant bedroom, and a bathroom. They also provided a lovely breakfast spread each morning. Not only were we blown away by our accommodations, the entire castle is just stunning! Staying here was absolutely a highlight for us for a week long trip around Scotland. We will definitely return! Also, the hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating! It is only a short bus ride into town and you can flag down the bus from the driveway. Don’t second guess, just book!"

"Spacious room, clean and warm, and situated in a very good location. The old course was very easy to walk to. Price is good as well! The check-in counter is just quite far, but as its not really a "hotel" in the strict sense, that was fine. Thanks for the comfortable stay!"

The warm and welcoming staff went above and beyond all expectations. The room was spacious, nicely appointed, with a modern bathroom. The hotel features a lovely restaurant featuring fine cuisine, cozy sitting spaces near fireplaces, a bar that is a great place to unwind, and lovely gardens.In short, Rufflets is a superb hotel I highly recommend!"
