"The hotel is fairly new, comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom. The location is good, convenient to drive into St. Joseph and Benton Harbor. It is easy on and off freeway. Parking is available. The breakfast was lacking, the hot food was cold, the person managing the food could care less. Food choices were limited. The hotel did charge an additional $16.00 for coffee, etc, which was unclear to me why, no additional services applied."

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The biggest problem was that the bathroom smelled and we complained the first 2 days. They did try to fix the problem but I think they have a plumping problem. It did get better and I had bought an air freshener. We stayed for 5 nights and we ate the breakfast there every morning. It was good even though it was the same thing every morning. I do feel they need to clean the outside patio areas more often, it was littered with trash and cigarette butts. The bed was comfortable and pillows were nice. Overall I would rate it 4 stars."

"Spacious and quiet room, although it smells of old cigarette smoke. I bought a plug in freshener. Jacuzzi was nice when it worked. Lighting wasn't great and no working exhaust fan in bathroom. Casino was nice and the food at Timbers was very good. I would re visit!"

"We were very pleased with our stay at the Grant Hotel. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The restaurant and bar on the main floor was so convenient. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. This was a very classy hotel in a small town and was a favorite destination for our group attending a weekend wedding nearby. We would definitely stay at the Grant hotel again!!"
