"Great two night stay in a park view room on the 6th floor. Clean and comfortable in a great location to walk to town. Nice view from the living room area with views of the lighthouse and sunsets. A short walk to the park and stairs leading to the beach and fountain/carousel area. Train tracks also near the fountain area. Did not hear any trains during the night with last train around 9:30PM so was not an issue. Included continental breakfast was okay. Would stay here again. "

"This hotel was reasonably priced and we had a very comfortable stay. It was clean, the bed was super comfy, check in was informative and easy. We would recommend this hotel and stay here again."

"The location was excellent and I think that is what you pay a lot for. The Hotel itself is tired and in need of renovations. The first room we were in, the toilet was not working and the staff did respond quickly and put us in another room with a working toilet. The continental breakfast was very scant and although breakfast sandwiches were mentioned by staff on checking in, other than toast, bagels and peanut butter and jam, nothing else. No hot portion like eggs or bacon or sausage. The bed was extremely comfortable though and had a good night sleep. And as I said, the location right downtown and walking distance to all downtown activities, amenities and restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking at the hotel. If not for the location though, I wouldn’t pay more than half the price of what I actually paid for this hotel. "

"Avoid this hotel at all costs. Where do I begin? When we walked in to check in, no one was at the desk for 5 minutes. Then when we finally got the room, it was dull and dingy. The pool, hot tub and vending machines were all out of order. In our bathroom, no conditioner or soap in the dispensers. Then when we checked out, we had a charge on our hold credit card for $22.81 for “incidentals”. The same guy who checked us in last night was cleaning rooms on our floor when we were to check out. Bad experience all around "
