We arrived and we was greeted by lovely lady Debbie, the room, bed & shower all fabulous. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and lovely crest fruit, all you wanted. Having stayed at several places when we visit Southend, now we have found The Hamilton we would stay anywhere else. It's a real gem

This was my second visit and the service was even better than last time when it was exemplary. From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough to help us. They even helped me with the bags because my husband is less abled. They were very attentive and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable. The icing on the cake was having the cases taken to the car when we departed. We will definitely be back there when we next book a show at Cliffs Pavilion as it is so convenient. Many...

Fabulous, our room 402 had a huge balcony with views over the estuary and of the pier. Staff were very friendly and attentive, evening meal of sharing steak was cooked exactly as we like it and breakfast was also very nice, highly recommend the full English for the hungry or sausage muffin. The location is also great, up on the cliff away from the noise but only a short walk to the lift and no more than 5 minutes walk to the pier. My only suggestions to make this perfect would be to make a...

We found this hotel to be far enough away from the town centre to not be bothered by any noise but close enough for a nice stroll and the sunset over the harbour was lovely. The owners have obviously spent a great deal of time and money on this once run down to turn it into a comfortable hotel with more improvements planned.

We stayed at Hogwarts for a one night stay while visiting friends in Kent. We chose it because it was well within our budget and close to where we needed to be. We stayed in the basic caravan and to be honest we weren't expecting much but we were so impressed. It was exactly what we wanted for the night. For a budget van it was well kept, clean, comfortable and there was tea coffee sugar and milk in the fridge wating for us. We also had towels and minature toiletries provided which was a lovely...

Staff were wonderful as was the room and the food available in the restaurant.
Only disadvantage was the lack of car parking but that still wouldn’t put us off returning.

Beautiful find. Very impressed, everything was perfect. The room was amazing, especially waking up to the views in the sunshine. Everything we needed and the room was spotless. All the little details have been thought of. The breakfast was yummy and the owners very friendly. We even had a text the evening we arrived asking us what time we would like breakfast and the options available. Such a lovely personal touch. Will definitely go back and recommend to others.
