"Room was clean view was great. Had to walk across the road to check in which was wierd while it was marked it just was unexpected. The resort was under construction and parking was tight. Worth the $ just wasn’t for me."

"To be honest it was not pleasant. It was nothing like the picture/the room I booked first off. It was so small. The draw on the whatever you want to call it was open & kept coming open. It said partial view of the beach. That was also a lie there was no view of the beach there was a window that we had to close the curtain to because we could see into other people rooms & I am sure they could see into ours their was a stain on the covers on the bed by the wall and the box spring cover on the bed close to the door & I mean close to the door had dirt stains. There were water stains in the ceiling of the bathroom. The green carpet floor going to the rooms were nasty/dirty, & the floor in the room was semi slippery. The parking garage was small & the ramps to the next levels were steep & go straight up, only fits one car at a time going up & coming down. It was a traffic jam trying to get in, out, &/or park. The staff that I interacted with was nice. "

"The staff were friendly. We got an upgraded room, but couldn’t stay out on our balcony because it smelled like weed (marijuana) all day each day. Someone was smoking on their balcony and if our doors were open, it stunk up our room. We called at least 3x a day to complain, the hallway stunk too and they would sometimes come and spray but never confronted the smokers. Staff said it happens all the time. So, even tho we’ve stayed there multiple times over 15 years, it may be time for a change. Also the property was under construction so there was no grass by the pool and workers would start at 8am. We had an oceanfront beach view which was lovely, when we could enjoy our balcony (less than 1/2 the trip). And they over charged me for our service dog, which I declared and signed a waiver for upon arrival and said they wouldn’t. Very disappointed. They didn’t resolve any complaints. We should have called the cops instead of the front desk, as weed is illegal in SC. "

"Wasn’t satisfied at all, the pictures on the site are definitely photoshopped to hide the aged and worn property and furniture. This place was absolutely disgusting and outdated and in need of renovations like last year. Guest service at check in was rude and not even at the hotel that I booked but at the neighboring hotel the Polynesian they charge a $100 dollar cash incidental fee the pools hot tubs, vending machines elevators all nasty and outdated the only thing decent about this place is the location definitely dissatisfied and will never patronize this property again!!!"
