I stayed here for a couple of days whilst travelling around India And it happened to be my birthday, the big 50. Bit far from anything but probably the best value hotel in Delhi. Food in three restaurants is excellent. Can get a little noisy as weddings are held in surrounding facilities. As a reward, you can see several Indian wedding ceremonies from the height of your room or walk along the road and see up to fife weddings simultaneously. Good chance you get invited. Very well maintained property with tempered pool and all facilities one could wish for.

There was a situation in my room on arrival. This was promptly dealt with. The management team were so apologetic & did everything to make amends. Their communication system within the team is a credit to Taj. They went the extra mile to ensure my stay was to Taj standards and it was. Excellent hotel. The. Service was first class. Everyone at the hotel takes great pride as employees, nothing is too much trouble. The room was perfect, great shower and the air conditioning worked well. The food was amazing, great choice and freshly made. I loved the rooftop pool,a real treat. The property has a top location and superb staff . The hotel rooms are very well appointed , and high class all the way . The club room lounge was absolutely outstanding and worth the cost . If you want a hotel that has all of the staff bowing and scraping before you ... they would probably blow your own nose given half a chance, then this the place for you. If you have more more money than sense and want to be obscenely pampered, then this is the place for you. When we arrived we were allocated a room at the front (room 204?), it was quite noisy due to dogs barking. When we spoke to reception about it the following morning we were immediately moved room to a better room at the back (201) without any question or argument. The hotel is in a very narrow alleyway in Old Delhi, cars cannot get to the hotel but staff were very helpful carrying our bags to the taxi. The food was delicious, the property was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful. Overall, everything was excellent. The room was spacious and everything was bright and clean. The safe was large enough for a 15" laptop and the bed was comfy. I was in Delhi for wedding shopping purposes and this property is at very convenient location to shop from khan market, connaught place or old Delhi market. Staffs are very friendly, rooms are nice and they have amazing breakfast buffet.
