I've stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels, but none with the luxury feel and service of the Leela Delhi. For a meted 261 rooms there is a staff of 600 employees to cater to your every need- need help connecting to the smart tv to watch Netflix, they'll have the IT dept at your door in minutes (this happened to me), laundry of two items per day were included with my package, as well as airport transfers (in a fancy BMW no less, with a great driver Kranti and a helpful employee at urge airport to help with your bags, Gaurav). Breakfast was a surreal buffet overflowing with ready to order items like dosas, eggs, pancakes, but also a whole array of cereals, pastries, veggies, fruits, cheese, yogurts, etc. They even thought of a carry away bag for pastries and fruit by the door. The spa was sumptuous, total luxury treatments, lots of space, a nice steam room, sauna and showers. The gym is located in the spa and is huge with weights, rowing machine, treadmills, bikes, elliptical, weight machines etc. every day Pooja greeted me at the spa. At the front door there were bellman to take your parcels, Manipal to greet you, and getting around was made uber easy. Pun intended. As a Indian non Hindi speaker it was really important for me to have a driver with me to go around. The Leela sent me with English speaking Kranti so I felt safe and secure to shop knowing I could just call him and return safely to the hotel. The chef was also amazing going out of the way to make my stay great.
