"Great location. 15/20 minutes walk to many restaurants, museums, markets, etc.
Small hotel, only 31 rooms, yet has the feel of a larger, stylish hotel One guide book says that if James Bond came to Izmir, he would stay at the Key Hotel. Rooms are very high tech: control the lights, blinds, housekeeping on the telephone, TV, or wall switches.
Our room faced the water and had a fantastic view of the sea and pedestrian promenade.
Concierge was very helpful in arranging tours, and even arranged for a clinic representative to come to our room at the hotel, on Sunday, to administer the Covid test required by the US Government for return to the US; not iinexpensive, but very convenient.
Breakfast buffet was excellent, and included a selected hot dish from the kitchen. And they offered freshly squeezed juices.
When we return to Izmir there is no question that we will return to the Key Hotel. It is excellent in every way."

"The hotel's staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Free simple Turkish breakfast included. Free tea and coffee - any time. The place is as clean as it's possible with regard to the price label. The hotel is located conveniently right opposite the railway station Basmane Gar. It's super easy to go to Ephesus from there. The city center is walking distance away."
