Lovely family suite, spotlessly clean. Communal kitchen with snacks and drinks on an honesty basis. Buffet breakfast included in price. Perfect central location. Host fantastically friendly and helpful, allowed to leave luggage while exploring. Brilliant value.

A lovely B&B in a great area and only a few minutes walk from the station (although you wouldn’t know it and you certainly wouldn’t be disturbed by it) - the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfasts were amazing!

I liked being Outside Lisbon, only 45 minutes train ride to centre. Everyone so pleasant, from Hotel staff, Guests to Local cafes & restaurants! Great Breakfast, I like the cake & coffee at other times! This is where I’ll stay when coming back!

The property is in an excellent location for walking around Sintra, whilst not being in the middle of the tourist area. The room was quiet, large and beautifully decorated and clean. We stayed in room 101 which had a balcony which was lovely to sit on in the spring sunshine. They kindly catered for us as vegans for breakfast. The people at the guest house were lovely and it's a bonus that you get to use the kitchen to hot drinks. We had a wonderful time, thank you.

We were looked after by Armie during our stay. Very helpful and friendly. We hired the electric bikes for the afternoon and did the Palace, Castle and Town. The room and breakfast were great. Thank you.

My stay at the Valverde Sintra Palacio Seteais was exceptional. The staff was attentive from the moment I walked in and looked after me throughout my stay. The atmosphere is magical and each room makes you feel truly a princess. A wonderful place that is very private and exclusive. You are made to feel with a personal touch rather than just a customer . The villa was clean, bed comfortable, could have moved in and lived there. Staff were really helpful and communication was excellent. The garden was very tranquil and perfect to just chill or stroke Jenny (the cat), or watch the fish Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Would totally recommend storyteller to other people.

It was a real treat staying at Lawrence’s Hotel. The staff are lovely and the old fashioned and historic ambience is special. The location is superb. I would recommend arriving by taxi/bus/train rather than car as the streets are hard to navigate.
