Beautiful place, very courteous staff! Wish we could have had another night there! Loved the upstairs lounge! Great location for walking to restaurants and to catch bus for castle/palace tours! Would love to stay here again!

Karen and her team are attentive and knowledgeable. We booked a room in Sintra for three days and it was adequately furnished with amenities but smaller than we expected for a longer than overnight stay. The room was very humid and there was condensation collecting on windows daily. Our books warped from the humidity, could have used a dehumidifier, but maybe it was because of the unseasonably warm weather? Breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options.

I stayed in a room where the sink was used by Queen Amélia (First, I thought the sink was dirty since it was stained and then realized there was a note saying that the sink was preserved due to that so I felt silly). The room was big enough and the bathroom was huge. Only downside is the shower. There is a curtain that sticks onto you and as others have said, you accidently knock over the handle, you can either burn your skin or freeze. No in between lol. The location is great. It's close to the small downtown area Sintra has. You do have to go down a non-suspecting alley to reach the Boutique and the rooms are located in a separate building not even a minute further. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, lots of choices.

A cozy gem in the city centre.
We absolutely loved our stay at 1012. The room was spacious and well appointed with everything we could need during our stay. It was pretty cold and rainy while we were in Sintra but our room was warm and toasty. I really loved the eclectic decor. Our host Karen, who manages the property, was exceptional and caring. Breakfast every morning was plentiful and the fresh squeezed juice was a real delight. I highly recommend staying here, great location and amazing service.
