This was a great place to stay for our family trip to Edinburgh. The tram station is right outside and only 20 mins ins. We drove and parking was straight forward albeit chargeable at £8 per day. The pool was a real added bonus for our kids after a long day of tourism. Only slight issue for me is our kids are getting older and Novotels concept of a "family" room is starting to look less desirable than the Premier Inns as the sofa bed is tight. An excellent hotel with character, class, and great service. I can understand why The Balmoral Hotel is such a famous place to stay when visiting Edinburgh.

Stayed here as my daughter was catching an early morning flight the following day. Good value and very comfortable accommodation. Very clean throughout. £12 for parking but that's airports for you.

Just got home from a weekend here and it was absolutely beautiful... breakfast options were great and swimming pool, sauna and steam room were great. My only bad point was the mattress wasnt all that but maybe its be being fussy. Netherless a beautiful place and we will be back in the summer

My son and his partner found this to be a very welcoming place and they really enjoyed their stay. My son was wished a Happy Birthday and their room was lovely. They loved the Breakfasts and enjoyed the facilities. I expect they will return in the future. Thank you

Our room exceptionally clean. The location of the hotel was perfect and the car parking facilities were very particularly useful - and unusual to find within a city break. The club lounge was also a real treat.

Hotel and Spa staff were very welcoming and helpful. Chef was amazing cooked a special vegan meal for my daughter each night we ate in hotel, as there was nothing suitable for her on menu. Room was comfortable and we had everything we required (only feedback I would give is that it would have been more useful to have a couple more sockets available). We were allowed early access to our room and std checkout was late enough to be really helpful! Staff were all excellent.

We stayed here to celebrate my husbands special birthday. From the moment we drove up and saw the impressive ship we knew we were in for a special treat. Everything about this place is incredible. The staff were so helpful and very welcoming. You helped make my husbands birthday treat a very special memory. Thank you !

Beautiful hotel with small but perfectly formed rooms. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the castle which was tiny but lovely. The bar area is fantastic and the Whisky Bar was our downfall (thanks to Dario who is an expert!) Will definitely return
