"Complete and full disclosure of my experience. I was very much looking forward to visiting this location based on the Appearance of the photos. Upon the initial booking of the room, I accidentally put in the wrong date. I sent a friendly note to the owners and asked if they had an availability for the previous day, which was what I had intended to book and they did not. They did not offer a reimbursement or credit towards the wrong booking date, so I decided to keep the date anyway since they had already taken my money. While in Columbus on the day prior to my visit, I decided to drive by the location and take a look. To my discuss the room is in an alley way, and doesn’t look very safe, there was trash around on the outside grounds and in the area around the rooms. I was willing to go forward with staying at the room despite the overall appearance because I had already paid until I received an email that said I had two options to receive my room code to enter the property. 1.) pay a $300 refundable deposit for any incidental or room cleaning that would need to occur. 2.) pay a $59 nonrefundable deposit, which is what they recommended because they said it was easier and I would be able to get on my way and log into the room without any need for verification. Based on my overall appearance of the property and looking in the windows, there was no way I was going to pay any type of deposit for this place without someone checking me in to review the current condition. No stars."

"This place was the pits. You walked in and the smell of marijuana was so strong, You could barely breathe. When we got into the room, there was a great big cockroach in the bathroom, and the toilet seat had to be bolted back on because it was very very loose. The towels in the bathroom were so thin that you could see through them. The carpet in the hallway were so dirty and greasy kinda look like they were used for oil changes. Again, walking through the hallways the smell of marijuana was so bad. It was almost sickening. We were locked out of our room six times because the key cards would not work properly. I would not recommend this property for my dog to stay in. I will never stay in a La Quinta Inn no matter what part of the country it’s in. The only reason we stayed as long as we did as we went through a booking service and could not get out of that without having to pay for all three days of the room. As far as your property, there was no redeemable redeemable characteristics about it"
