This hotel must be transitioning ownership as it is seriously understaffed for its size and was practically empty. I will say the people working there were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and the location was safe and good for my needs. There was lots of street parking available over the weekend. I would stay here again.

Rooms need attention! This used to be such a beautiful property, but is now in need of a lot of attention. The lobby is updated and nicely appointed; our room & the fitness center are different stories. It’s a perfect location for enjoying all that downtown has to offer, so I hope updates & repairs for the rooms are planned soon!

This hotel is adequate at best though it is very 'tired' and needs a face-lift. The towel rack fell off the bathroom wall. There was no shower soap and only 1 tiny soap on the bathroom counter, also no body lotion. I had to go to several floors to find an ice machine that actually worked. The pictures on the wall were all askew but couldn't be straightened because they were permanently affixed to the wall. Our room didn't have a frig or a microwave. The one positive is that the king-sized bed was very clean and very comfortable and the large TV was a plus.

Got to the hotel shortly after 4. Lobby is dated and was very warm, no big deal. Got our room in a timely fashion, the desk staff were good. We get to our room and it was cleanish, and very very hot. Turned the air on and within 10 minutes the temp went from 80 to 84. Went to the desk to get a different room and they quickly did so. Went to the next room and it was also warm, and dirty. Towels all over the bathroom and the bed wasnt made. Went back to the desk and asked to cancel our stay and to get refuned and they did so with no hesitation. The desk staff were great, that was the only think that was good here. Saw numerous other people at the front desk making similar complaints, on even saying the rooms tv was on the bed.

I arrived at 9pm (on St Patrick’s day) and as a result there was no food available, the restaurant in the hotel was closed, every business nearby was closed even the bars. I ordered from Uber Eats which cancelled itself two hours later as the restaurant was closed. What’s going on Columbus? It’s 9 PM on st Patrick’s day! Also The room was very cold (in the low 60s) so I turned up the heat but it never got warmer than 68. I needed to get a new key from the front desk every time I returned to my room as they stopped working and locked me out. The ice machines on most floors have signs directing you to the one that works on another floor. There is no pool. The staff was very friendly.

I liked the location being across State Street from the Ohio State House where I needed to be. There is an open, old bag of ice in the freezer of the refrigerator in the room that should be removed and the freezer cleaned. To do so will require thawing the freezer but it's unsightly.

The staff was super friendly and the restaurant in the hotel was delicious ! Just watch, not all floors had a working ice or vending machine, but that gave us an excuse for a little adventure ! Overall everything was really nice !
