"Great stay, as always. Building is showing its age, but staying here is so convenient, I'm okay overlooking the small things. What's great about a smaller place like this is if your plans change - its easier to add or subtract days from your stay without stupid charges. Staff was great, and when my credit card did not show me leaving a day early - one phone call and it was taken care of. I will continue to stay at the Lafayette - at least until I see a ghost - and yes - I look for them! "

"I was only supposed to stay for two nights but wound up staying four. It's a great hotel with a great bar on the top floor. My only gripes are no microwave in the room and the bathtub is pretty slippery. I also couldn't connect to the wifi and eventually gave up trying. The valet is a little bit of a joke because the vehicles are basically parked a few feet from where the vehicle is dropped off, but it is helpful and the guys parking the vehicles were very helpful and quick.
