"We stayed at Carlton Hotel Singapore for six nights and overall had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent — within easy walking distance of many restaurants, shopping areas, and major tourist attractions, which made exploring the city very convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel worked well as a base for our time in Singapore. The only downside was the late-night check-in experience. We arrived around 2 a.m., and the staff member on duty was not particularly welcoming and made the process more difficult than expected. Considering Singapore’s usually high hospitality standards, this was a bit surprising. Aside from that moment, the stay was comfortable and the location remains a strong advantage of this hotel."

"Not too many shops . We were prepared for that . No issue The staff at the reception desk were amazingly helpful , friendly and knowledgable . Must name these three outstanding ladies :Yi Jie Chen , Kanchana & Yamunaa who went extra miles to assure our stay comfy and hassle free . Much appreciated . They are the huge asset to your hotel ."

"Wonderful stay at Citadines Balestier. Spacious living and bedroom. My wife and I enjoyed our stay tremendously, very conveniently located to Whampao Market and Shaw Plaza. We loved the neighbourhood although it can get a little dodgy after 11pm. Took Grab everywhere and it’s close enough to Orchard and Bugis area. "

"Surrounding was tranquil and 50m swimming pool an advantage. Room spacious but dated and bathroom smelled. Staffs at reception were unfriendly and unhelpful. Be prepared to get your own luggage trolley to lug your bags up your rooms and vice versa; no help from staffs at all. No hospitality during our 4days stay there. Been a guest of OCC for years but recent stay was a major disappointment. "
