"This is a really lovely place! Some historic hotels/B&Bs are just historic and have seen better days. Not this place! We were only there for one night while on a road trip, but we would have enjoyed staying a few days longer. The manager greeted us warmly and made sure we enjoyed every minute of our stay. "The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was the pool. The hotel itself was clean, and the rooms and common areas were well maintained. The breakfast was decent, and there was always something to eat. Overall, we had a good stay. However, the inside walls of the pool, especially around the waterline, were noticeably dirty and looked like they had not been cleaned for a long time. The water itself was clean, but the yellow buildup around the edges of the pool was unpleasant and affected the overall impression."
