The hotel was a fantastic place to stay whilst in Porto. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The room over looked the courtyard and was very quiet. The staff were all so friendly and knowledgeable about the area, giving us some excellent recommendations and advice. Breakfast was included and was lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We have not written a travel review before but we do read them, and our choice of this Guest House was influenced by the good reviews we read. Great place to stay the staff were excellent. Food and room were also good. Parking is a challenge on space for 4 car maximum. Location is not easy to find but it's excellent for exploring Porto

This place was simply superb. That started with one of the hosts, Ana, organising a taxi to pick us up from the airport and bringing us to the guest house. A delightful place and a faultless stay. This is a beautifully-designed property in an excellent, central (but quiet) location with kind and charming owners and staff. Will certainly return. Highly recommended.

Clean and spacious room in a central location.

Absolutely loved it from the start of my stay. Alberto was a lovely man who was exceptionally gracious, friendly and helpful. Personal touches like little chocolates left on the bed to luxurious towels and bathrobe. Nothing was too much trouble for Alberto or the housekeeper Susanna. The distance from the centre was quite a way but not a problem for me but may be for someone with mobility issues. Would love to visit again.

This place is absolutely lovely and very well located, just 15 minutes walk (or a slow walk of 20 mins) from the most central places. Opposite the premises is a beautiful park (Jardins do Palácio de Cristal) with peacocks and stunning views over Porto. The decor of the rooms and the common areas are beautiful, the staff extremely kind and helpful - thank you Maria and the other lady who went out of her way to ensure that I could connect to their Internet when I lost network coverage. The room was immaculately clean and comfy, with everything we needed. The location was superb, with lovely bars and restaurants in walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Porto.

We loved our stay here, the guest house is spotless, the shared bathroom has a great shower, very clean, the bed was comfy, the couple who run it are lovely, lady explained all the places to visit and gave us a map, you can have something to eat when you like, toast, cereal, tea or coffee all day, we made cheese and ham toasties at the end of a long day walking round Porto, it was a welcome extra. I would happily stay here again as it was fantastic.

Good walking distance to centre

Beautifully decorated, tastefully furnished and spacious period property. Well equipped (coffee machine, kettle, fridge etc) and good location) near transport links but not as busy as the historic centre. Ines was a kind and thoughtful host.

Before we even arrived we were sent information and questions to help make our stay more special. There was a really nice welcome when we checked in and provided with lots of helpful info, all the staff were wonderful. New Years Eve we were sent a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine delivered to our room and the girls made special cakes each day for breakfast.
