Ideally situated outside of San Francisco, plenty of amenities close by , there are many choices of restaurants in San Rafael , we used ferries and drove in to San Francisco, the parking is very expensive , this is why we chose the Marin lodge,

Really well located if you need to go to San Rafael. I was afraid of the noise (the 580 and the 101 are nearby), but turns out the sound proofing was good. To the best of my knowledge, there was no breakfast, but you can easily get something from Burger King or any of the gas stations within a 5 minute walk. Very good amenities (fridge, microwave, coffeee machine), staff very friendly. There were some food trucks a couple of minutes walk on the evening I arrived, excellent tacos and burritos....

Some places offer you a room for the night, but others make you feel genuinely welcomed, cared for and valued. The Best Western in Corte Madera is most definitely the latter!
From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a team whose positivity, energy, warmth and generosity were simply outstanding. Having arrived after a very long flight, I was understandably exhausted, and despite being much earlier than the usual check-in time, the team went out of their way to accommodate me. That level of...

Troy as a first point of contact was particularly friendly and helpful giving us vital informationto help our days run smoother. We will miss him! In fact all staff were really welcoming and went out of their way for us, from reception staff to cleaners to restaurant workers.

We were a bit worried when we arrived that the area outside the hotel was crazy busy and full of loud cars, bikes and music… but we had read a top tip to request a courtyard room and so actually our room was super quiet and relaxing and a nice break from the chaos of fisherman’s wharf.
Restaurant breakfast was delicious but there’s also a latam coffee shop on the corner of the block directly behind the hotel who do amazing pastries.

My stay in San Francisco was part of a larger trip which also included New York and LA.
Honestly the hotel was perfect for what I was looking for, very easy going. No uncomfortable pestering (although I’d recommend using the do not disturb sign to avoid being woken by housekeeping).
The location was excellent and walking everywhere was super simple.
One lovely lady at reception was amazing with directions and recommendations, one of which was cycling across the Golden Gate Bridge (a must...

This hotel is lovely and well located. The hotel deco is very fun, spacious rooms, comfy bed, great service, decent breakfasts and the best thing is the wine reception which is a fantastic touch (this was our fav part of the stay!)
The hotel is located 10min walk from Union Sq and the subway station. You’ll have a good selection of restaurants and shops nearby.
