"It was a great room."

"OK The Mozart Hotel will be the strangest hotel you ever stay in, from the decor to the room layouts but it's something that must be seen to be believed! The Location is 5* if you want to be slap bang in the City Centre, it's not taxi accessible but it's a 2min walk from pick-up and drop off taxi locations. The Owner is so proud of his hotel but nice and friendly chap, the other staff are polite and helpful, except for the guy on day reception, no smile no conversation whatsoever! The Hotel is clean and tidy no gripes can be said about that. The rooms are configured so strangely we had a triple with a double bed on a lower level with steps upto two single beds of which if your over 5'6 your hitting your head on the ceiling. The room was not overly spacious but it was clean, the bathroom was simple and the shower powerful which is a plus as I cannot stand a drippy shower. Now if you want a good nights sleep, this is not the place, we had a front street facing room on the 1st floor and its loud till about 5am in the morning (Friday, Saturday & Sunday Night) so if your a light sleeper not a good room to be in. The bed's were the worst I have ever slept on, rock hard mattress and a flat pillow, (I had to ask 3 times for more pillows as your only provided 1 per person in the room). 2/10 for the room and 0/10 for quality of sleep for the duration of the stay! The breakfast is very basic, bread cheese and a croissant and Jam with tea or coffee and Orange Juice 3/10"

"As you would expect from a Marriott Autograph hotel - it was fantastic. Location is good for a short walk to the tourist area, and right next to the metro. "

"Found it to be very impersonal and business-friendly, but less interesting for a family. Location is ok, on a busy street close to the metro and walking distance to attractions (about 2 km). Our room was verrrrrry quiet. The restaurant was too expensive for us - I could not justify taking our family there at the prices on offer. If we did not have teenagers with us I would have preferred a B&b for the friendliness and social interactions so easily available. The neighbourhood around the hotel is mostly EU and EU-style business buildings."

"The room was quite warm, and the air conditioning didn’t seem to work very effectively. It was also fairly noisy, as the room faced the main street. Breakfast was extremely busy on Saturday morning, and it was difficult to find a place to sit. The breakfast selection was continental only. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located—around an 8-minute walk to the central station and about 15 minutes on foot to the main square, as well as nearby bars and restaurants."

"Please take note, Hotel is on a pedestrian only street. You have to get dropped off way up the street and find your hotel, all while dragging your luggage through the cobblestone sqare/streets. I did have a wonderful corner room and I could see the tower in Grand Place from my windows. Also was able to watch the sunset. I arrived around 2 hrs early before the 3 o'clock check in. Room wasn't ready yet, so they stored my luggage. When asked what time i should come back, was told 3:00. Didn't seem like there was any wiggle room. When checking in, i was told that on checkout morning, they could have the taxi driver come help with my bags to the taxi. When i checked out, I was told by a different employee, that wasnt possible. She said she could help me to the door, which was 30 ft accross the room, but that was it. That was very condescending. All and all, the room was nice, the staff were not extremely helpful."
