"Close to the airport and the staff was very helpful. The room was the only one during my 12 day visit to Beligum that had a fan and refrigerator. The hotel had an excellent restaurant with excellent food. They also had a very good breakfast and would stay here again when in Brussels. Thank you."

Brussels at night was breathtaking. When making dinner plans, be sure to make a reservation and double-check that the place is open on your desired dining day. Unsure how the natives manage to cycle on the cobblestone! Use car directions instead.

As a Canadian who is constantly being pushed around by our big neighbour to the south, it is wonderful to visit a town where people speak multiple languages, and enjoy talking with you, proud of who they are, admit their gaffs, and welcome you.

The Horta museum (booking required) and surrounding area is a must visit place, but what a truly beautiful house. The surrounding areas are full of interesting properties and great places to eat and drink. We ate at Shrimps - it was fabulous!

Brussels is a quiet city, lacking the energy of Amsterdam or London. However, it is the gateway to explore some beautiful cities in Belgium such as Bruges and Ghent, and the transportation system is easy to navigate, clean, and convenient.

Brussels is very friendly for tourists and all the people I met were friendly and helpful. Communicating in English was not a problem, and was easily able to use public transport.
"Like the convenience of it as you just have to walk 25 meters to go from the hotel to Departures.
The food is good (house made mashed potatoes, good caesar salad).
Rooms and bar/restaurant would need a refresh tho."
"Absolutely amazing. The rooms are huge. The beds were comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Everything is within walking distance. Everything was well kept and tidy looking. The rooms were quiet, and AC was great. We'd definitely stay here again."
"We had an absolutely delightful stay, with the room's view and decor aligning perfectly with our tastes. The staff was outstanding, featuring a strong female presence alongside attentive gentlemen. Our sincere thanks go to Isabella and the entire reception team, as well as Dimitris, who cultivated an atmosphere that felt just like our own living room. For anyone seeking a classic bohemian vibe infused with international charm, this is the ideal destination in Brussels. We will certainly return, as the terrace and rooftop provide fantastic options for a tranquil and enjoyable experience with family and friends. I also hope they consider adding a spa or similar amenity, as it would greatly enhance the experience. I could have easily spent my entire time at the Hoxton, soaking in the wonderful vibes!"
