"The hotel was very nice. The location has no staff on site but they’re still very attentive. My only complaint would be that I received a reminder about quiet hours even though my partner and I were very conscientious of the others staying there. It’s impossible to be silent going up and down stairs in an old house with no elevator. We heard all of the other guests doing the same thing along with other noises so we thought it was strange that someone may have complained about us specifically. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Very walkable town."

It’s a rather large step up, which was very inconvenient, especially if you’re sure or have any issues with your legs, the shower head is not a great shower stream of water otherwise than that it was very clean. Could hear people stomping upstairs periodically but wasn’t too disruptive but could see how it could be to others if noise was an issue. Room smelled like weed one night which was nauseating. Beds were slightly uncomfortable but room was clean staff were very friendly. We stayed with children for a stay for Boston and Salem which is a good location between both. Breakfast just had muffins, oatmeal and coffee. Plenty of self parking. Felt safe and surrounded by wooded area."
