Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites

"We had a great stay. The location is excellent. The hotel is well maintained and the staff was helpful. I appreciated that they offer a transportation vehicle even though we didn't get to use it. The hotel bar closed earlier than we expected, but we were able to walk to another one close by. They don't offer a complimentary breakfast, that would be my only complaint. I might add, the parking lot is remarkably small. I could see how parking could be an issue, but it didn't impact our stay."

"stayed for 4 day and 3 night, the brakfast is amazing, and the stuff was very helpful with topping off tghe brakfast when it running low. The only complaint is the bathroom is small, but definitely usable and clean."

"My wife and I stayed here for our “minimoon” right after we got married and overall it was a great hotel! Very historic and definitely had that vintage feel while still maintaining cleanliness and a somewhat modern touch. Staff were very helpful and it was close by for us to walk everywhere in Salem! The only downside that we noted was that since the hotel is 101 years old - the walls between rooms are very thin and we could definitely hear others in rooms nearby. But this hotel provided a great place for us to enjoy all of Salem!"

"The hotel had several amenities that we used, the indoor pool and fire pit. The continental breakfast and breakfast room were adequate. We enjoy going out to breakfast because we always want eggs, for more protein. Great location for all Rockport has to offer. The sheets were a little old, but for the price an excellent value in season. The staff was top notch and accessible and accommodating."

"I liked the location of the hotel. The restaurant was nice and reasonable prices. The not so great part was , the arcade was closed the entire time we were their. The Women at the front desk were in need for more help and looked very overwelmed. The smell inmy room# 747 was musty from AC. I heard the elevator the entire time going up and down , as we were placed right by it."

"Lovely old house that has become a beautiful inn. Walkable to downtown, train station, beach, terrific porch for outdoor afternoon relaxing. Our room “Wide Berth” was clean, spacious and bright, with two comfortable side chairs. Window ac unit was quiet and kept the room at just the right temp. Commin spaces were clean and well decorated."
