Positives? Too many to mention. Negatives? Only one... the funny water smell, however this is something all residences suffer from in Iceland (due to the geothermal water supply)
The staff were especially helpful, having a garage was very helpful and despite the central location very easy to drive to. Wife and daughter loved it too.
Would stay here again 10/10

We had a fabulous time here. Room was clean and had everything provided you could possibly need.
Breakfast was amazing- ample for breakfast ans snacks for lunch too! I don’t think we ever managed to finish it on any of the days we stayed!
Check in was seamless with all the info we needed.
Would stay here again without a doubt.

Staff in the hotel were all pleasant and helpful, and rooms were nice and comfortable. I opted not to eat in the restaurant as I thought I'd be pushed for time to have breakfast before some of the organised tours starting at 8am, and generally decided to eat elsewhere in Reykjavik for dinner.
Location wise, it's a quiet road just at the eastern edge of downtown, so just a few minutes walk away from various shops and restaurants. Also about 5 minutes walk from bus stop #12 which seems to be one...

Lovely, small hotel. Rooms modern, stylish, very warm and wonderfully clean. Staff were incredibly helpful and attentive - nothing was too big or small for their kind attention, efficient. Continental breakfast plentiful and fresh, tea and coffee available in small but stylish lounge 24/7.
I want to go back in the summer and will book this hotel again and have no hesitation in recommending it to all my friends.

Lovely cozy B&B. The owner was friendly. Very close to a little square with restaurants & a only couple of minutes walk to bus stop 1 where you pick up tour buses.

Johanna who runs the apartments was the most helpful person ever, she went above and beyond I cannot thank her enough. The apartments were modern, spacious, clean & had everything you need such as cooking facilities which is a must in Iceland how expensive eating out is. A supermarket and bakery is across the road also a pizza takeaway. If you forget anything there is a box in reception to help you out. The huge windows looks over the mountains which is truly spectacular. A little bit out from...

The Lighthouse is excellent for a one-night stay-over before or after a Keflavik flight. It is about 14 minutes by car to the airport. It is in a very quiet area at the end of the Gardur peninsula.
If the hotel restaurant is fully booked, as it was when we stayed, there is another within walking distance (wild and windy weather notwithstanding) - the Rostin. Unfortunately, it closes at 8 so if you're arriving later be sure to have a hotel restaurant reservation. There is nothing else for...

The views and amenities for this place are amazing. The apartment had absolutely everything you could want. The host was very happy to show us around and made us feel very welcome. The hot tub was just the "icing on the cake" for us - many thanks.
I have never slept in such a comfy bed!!
I would highly recommend both apartment & location x

A lovely hotel, centrally located on Laugevegur. Although we’d emailed ahead to pay for early check in, our room wasn’t ready when we arrived but we were able to leave our luggage in the luggage room and explore the city. Laugevegur is a pedestrian street in the part where the hotel is so it isn’t possible to be picked up or dropped off directly outside. The bus stop for Flybus (and tour pick ups) is number 14 at the bottom of a reasonably steep hill - getting the suitcases up was a challenge...

Great Hotel, perfect location for the Bus Transfers to the airport and downtown. We did not use the facilities of the hotel as we where out all the time, but room was nice and right next to a bakery for breakfast if you want something less expensive in the morning. As down town there is merriment noise into the early hours to be heard if you need the window open like we do, fine with treble glassing closed. Definitely would go back.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel and had an amazing stay. The hotel is well positioned to explore Reykjavik by foot, and has the main bus stops just a short walk away. We stayed in a suite, which had a sauna on the balcony and amazing views of the city. The room itself was extremely clean, had lots of storage and was spacious. The bed was super comfortable. The staff at the hotel were friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Some reviews have mentioned noise. We stayed Monday to Friday, and only...

We stayed here Monday to Friday and it was lovely, very clean and comfortable. It had a little kitchen with a fridge, toaster and hob which was amazing as food in Iceland is expensive! It was very central and right next to bus stop 13 one of the main pick up stops for trips - would recommend.
