"Breakfast was subpar and very limited. The elevator broke down while we were there, the property is very old, the rooms feel moist and smell like there’s some moisture damage when the air conditioning is on. Housekeeping staff is extremely loud and they slam the doors for hours on end when they’re cleaning at 6am to noon. Front desk was pleasant and accommodating but I didn’t like they allowed a group of Hispanics to just hang out in the lobby throughout the day into the late hours of the night. They made me and my guest very uncomfortable with their piercing stares every time we entered the lobby to get on the elevator. For the amount of money they charge per night I’d expect a lot more convenience, peace and security. "

"Friendly staff, clean room, and very comfortable bed. Honestly, the only issue I encountered here was housekeeping knocking at my door and nearly entering the next morning though I had placed the privacy tag on my door the night before. That said, I don't think this was her fault. It was windy and I'm pretty sure the privacy tag blew right off the door handle at some point that night. With the doors here exposed to the outdoors, the "do not disturb" tags really should be a magnet or some other system that can't just be blown away. I only stayed for one night, my last night in New Orleans before flying back home, so did not have time to enjoy any amenities, pool, etc. But it looked clean. I'd stay here again if needing a quick overnighter near the airport."

"Overall, this was a decent stay. The hotel itself was clean, and check-in was smooth, which made arrival easy. The staff was pleasant and helpful, especially when we realized the TV in our original guest room was broken. They moved us to another room down the hall pretty quickly, and I appreciated how easily they handled it. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, and the elevator moved at a very slow pace, so that was a little frustrating. Even with those issues, the staff helped keep the experience fairly positive."
