Comfort Inn Ellsworth - Bar Harbor

"This was the best Comfort Inn I have ever stayed at. Staff were nice and welcoming and helpful. The food quality and quantity was way above expectation- tasty breakfast items, delicious homemade soup in the afternoon, and 24-hour good tasting coffee. Not to mention the freezer full of free ice cream treats in the lobby. I was also impressed that there was a fitness room with a few basic workout machines and a full set of dumbbells, which I used. I also noticed there was a washer and dryer for guest use. Our room was comfortable and had a fridge and microwave. The location is convenient to shopping plazas, is directly next door to an LL Bean outlet, and close to the center of Ellsworth, which has several good restaurants. It is right on the highway to Bar Harbor, which is a 30-minute drive. It was a very good value for the price of our 2-night stay. I highly recommend."

"The room was filthy with bugs trapped in the overhead light. Headboard on bed was splattered with stains. The paint was pealing with black spots in the corner of the bathroom. The airconditioner wall unit was never cleaned and had accumulated dust and grim. The toilet paper holder broke and fell off the wall. In all this room 262 was discussing. I changed rooms which was a bit better but the AC needed to be cleaned and I could not adjust the speed. It was always at HIGH! I would not book a room at this Inn."

"Our room was beautiful, large and clean. We had a beautiful view and used the massage chair in our room many times-loved it! The staff were all friendly and helpful. The pool, hot tub and sauna were all clean and well maintained. Few people there when we used them and just across from Mizzentop where we stayed. The village center was about a 20 minute walk away or you can drive there and pay for parking. We had such a great trip and enjoyed all our hiking and scenery at Acadia!"

"Excellent location, highly recommend! This place was exactly what we needed for our 4-day trip to Bar Harbor. It’s within walking distance to the Main Street and has a large, free parking lot. We enjoyed the free coffee in the lobby, the TV in the room, and helpful recommendations from the staff. Great value for the price!"
