"Pleasantly surprised at the accommodations and views of the bay from our cottage. The porch was great. Parking right at the cottage. Check in was easy and reception was very friendly and helpful. The cottage had a small but well equipped kitchen with everything we could need. The living room had a table and chairs, desk and plenty of furniture and a large TV. The bedroom had 2 queen beds that were comfortable but it was a bit cramped for 4 people with luggage but it worked. The shower was great and the bathroom was big. Lighting was great and the timed heater made it nice and warm for showering. The only complaint was that there was nowhere to put anything at the sink area as the sink looked pretty but no counter area at all so difficult to put anything down. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends. It was a short ride to the downtown area, stores, and restaurants."

"This was a spectacular beautiful historic Inn built in 1818 with the most beautiful view of the mountains and Phillips lake from our window and it has a beautiful fine dining with the best food I had over all in Bangor! The Mother’s Day brunch was to die for! We definately look forward to staying here again on our next visit! As a historical place I had to learn how to use the shower sprayer, but after the 1st time it was no problem. The staff was super friendly and be sure and ask them about Nathan the old caretaker who murdered his wife and her lover in room 8 then committed suicide in room 5! I highly recommend this place! Just keep in mind during the winter months and downtime season the dinningroom and bar area are closed on Monday and Tuesdays."

"Terrible Room smelled awful I open up the window left came back smell still there smell like butt and feet the chair was disgusting I had to stay in my son dorm room for the night I complain no accommodation the hotel looks nothing like the pictures need to be torn down Never again everyone deserve better no matter who you is"

"I did not use the laundry services. We did have a very slow leak in the bathroom, that was coming from the room above us. It was reported it and the manager did what he could, but it was still working through the cement floor. He was going to change or room, but the only option was to go to the second floor. I was using a walker and could not do the stairs, no elevator. They gave us extra towels to put where it would drip. All was good and we were compensated. The manager was very helpful."

"I stayed with my two dogs and it’s was the most pet friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It was comfortable about quiet (except the Alamo g of the outside door) we will definitely stay here again!"
