"This is a fantastic property that is all inclusive; beautiful landscaping and water front with a beach area and many chaise lounges, outdoor seating with fire pits and beautiful lighting, a tiki hut bar, beautiful pool and hot tub, two restaurants, and on-site rental of jet skis, kayaks etc. You can also book snorkeling and other trips right at the resort. Small but nice gift shop. We had a beautiful and spacious room with a balcony overlooking the pool and a glimpse of the ocean too. Enjoyed the complimentary cookies and champagne (bought OJ and made mimosas!). Only had breakfast there but the food was delicious. Staff (especially housekeeping) were always smiling and took time to speak to us. Had a great conversation with the man in charge of landscaping and he pointed out a few unique plants (we are plant enthusiasts). We will definitely stay there again!"

"We loved our stay here but this is not a fancy place. It is on a canal and is older but very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside our room in the mornings and evenings watching the iguanas across the canal. The pool was enjoyable. The on-site restaurant has open air seating and is not fancy but the food was FANTASTIC! It's called Made to Order. We had breakfast there and were amazed. I had the French toast made with croissants and orange batter with orange butter. Delicious. We will stay here again."

"We loved staying here. Our room was spacious and beautiful. The beds were comfortable and we had a great balcony overlooking the pool with a view of the ocean. The property is beautifully landscaped and kept immaculate. The pool was lovely with a tiki bar serving beer, wine and some snacks. We had access to the sister facility just a few blocks away with a full restaurant and bar. Kayaks and paddle boards were complimentary so we took kayaks out one day and really enjoyed that. All the staff were super. I had one small issue r/t housekeeping and management was very responsive. Only complaint really would be that there was not available parking close to our room. The spaces were taken and people have boats and trailers parked on site. Having said that, it was still just a short walk to our room so we pulled in to load/unload our stuff then parked near the office. We would definitely stay at La Siesta again!"

"Although the property is old, it’s been refurbished. It’s so Bahama feeling which is exactly what we expected. The water area is beautiful. Sunset is amazing. Could have sat there all night! restaurant that was next to property was excellent."
