Bluenose Inn - Bar Harbor Collection

8/10 Good

"Enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property. Pros: beautiful, clean room with a view. The pool and sauna were good and relaxing. We enjoyed the piano bar and the short nature path and deck. Cons; The part we stayed in had a nice view, but the balcony was not usable due to noise of traffic below. Also, the bed was a bit too soft for my preference. Otherwise a great deal and lovely stay."

Wonder View Inn - Bar Harbor Collection

10/10 Excellent

"Front desk check in was smooth, she offered suggestions not only about where to go in town, but also pointed out several things in the attached gift shop that were perfect gifts without having to go far. Nightly live piano was also suggested, and he was great, went two night in a row, he played Mozart to the Beatles, took suggestions and worked the crowd between sets. Views from the room were awesome and overlooked all of bar harbor (town and harbor)"

Seasider Motel

8/10 Good

"In the area to hike at Acadia NP. Stayed 2 weekday nights with my husband and our adult son in a room with 2Q beds. In appearance, it's a typical no-charm motel but there was plenty of space in the room, comfortable beds, and very helpful staff. Breakfast is mostly standard motel food, but yay for the thoughtful selection of some healthier foods like fresh fruit, cups of plain Bob's Red Mill oats (just add water), and energy bars to take hiking. There's also coffee (including decaf) and tea all the time, We had a rental car to get to the park, but we just walked from the motel ~8 minutes to get to the heart of Bar Harbor for restaurants and shops. (Be careful crossing the awkward intersection in front of the motel). Overall, we were pleasantly surprised at how well this place met our needs."
