Beautiful hotel in beautiful location. The attention to detail was fantastic far more than expected. The team at the Hideaway go above and beyond to make sure your stay is memorable. We had a wonderful weekend.

Stayed over Easter weekend. Arrived Friday night and was greeted by one of the owners, Bonnie. We have a double room, well sized with lots of storage. Bed was soft and good for a few nights with been uncomfortable. Ensuite was good as well and the showers hot. All rooms look to come with a TV (limited to ITV and C4 channels only) and welcome book with the WiFi information (good for streaming) Breakfast has to be preordered by 7pm he day before, good range of hot food on selection...

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in by far , they couldn’t co enough for us and the rooms and place are absoluxley (see what I did there) amazing . We got engaged and they helped . Will deffo be returning

I put in the postcode but car sat nav directed me as far as the local pub only! After turning down a wrong lane past the pub in the pitch dark (9pm on an October evening) ascending up at a dead end I rang the owner who instructed me to carry on past the pub for another 2 miles! I eventually arrived at a building signposted as the ‘equestrian centre’ so I drove a bit further and ended up driving around some lane in a woods (surrounded by curious deer and badgers!). Really great guest house. Kind hosts, good room - and newly refurbished bathroom really good. Perfect breakfast. Able to park outside. Short walk to the town centre. Great to have a sofa in the room.

Great location for Windermere town centre

We had a wonderful stay at Glencree last weekend. the hotel was clean, well presented the owners were warm and great at hospitality!

We stayed in this lovely guest house for two nights as we were attending a family funeral. We arrived at about 3pm on the first day and were greeted by a lovely lady who explained where everything was and showed us to our room. We had a king room which was absolutely huge, with a massive, very comfortable bed, a large and comfy sofa, a large bathroom with an excellent shower and a really big TV on a rotating wall bracket (to make it watchable from anywhere in the room). I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. We had a great stay at the Copper Kettle, lovely warm, cosy and clean room with very comfy bed. Pamela was a lovely, friendly host and nothing was too much trouble. Our evening meal and breakfast were superb. Free on site parking in the centre of town is a bonus.

Lovely stay here. The room was fantastic, staff helpful and breakfast was amazing. The chauffeur ride into Cartmel was also a great touch. We shall return!
