"Rooms were clean and modern, but the hotel is inside a normal apartment building and the rooms were set over different floors among normal apartments. Also, except for when we checked in- we never saw staff on the check in desk again so we weren’t sure how to contact them about issues as they also don’t respond on Expedia app. It is in a very good location for visiting the Vatican"

"This place sits somewhere between a campground and a budget resort—and that’s exactly its appeal. If you’re looking for a traditional hotel in Rome, this isn’t it. But if you want affordable, flexible lodging with more space and amenities, it’s a strong option. The setup is mostly bungalows and mobile homes, which are surprisingly comfortable. You get basic essentials—bed, bathroom, A/C—and enough privacy to relax after long days in the city. It’s not luxury, but it’s clean and functional. Where it stands out is the facilities: * Large pool area (great in the summer) * On-site restaurant and bar * Mini market for quick essentials * Shuttle/bus access into central Rome Getting into the city takes some planning. It’s outside the center, so expect 30–45 minutes to reach major spots like Colosseum or Trevi Fountain. Public transport works fine, but it’s not as convenient as staying downtown. Downsides: * Can get crowded and noisy, especially with groups * WiFi is hit or miss * Feels more like a resort than a “Rome” experience Bottom line: Great value if you’re okay trading location for price and space. Especially good for families or longer stays. If you want to step out your door into historic Rome, look elsewhere—but if you want a budget-friendly base with amenities, it does the job well."

"Under the bathroom sink was rubble for work down ( plaster) that i cleaned. The pullout couch sheets were not clean. it took forever to get a brown to clean the room. we were rationed toilette paper, i bought my own and were advised that we would have one set pf towels for a week stay. Thankfully the cleaning lady gave us extra towels,. the front desk was very short and seemed bothered when we asked for direction ( this was our first trip to Rome, Italy and we were celebrating my daughters 16th bday). I have traveled to a lot of places and this is, by far, the worst experience. I am glad that i have seen other places in Europe so I know that this is not the standard of hospitality everywhere! The hotel. upon checkout, failed to properly bill for one night and when I arrived home to Canada, I received an email about , their mistake in not billing the last night. I asked to please send the bill of what I owe and I will gladly pay, I have yet to receive the bill. I had also asked for the receipt of what I already paid and have yet to receive that as well. In the email it was stated that a link will be sent for me to pay and I have yet to receive that as well. I am in the customer service industry and i can confidently say it was the worst customer service!"
