"The Hotel, Restaurant, Bar and other amenities were great. However, the very best part was the staff, who were ALL exceptional-plus!! It was truly remarkable how genuinely friendly and helpful the staff members were. We even found the exceptionally friendly service in many of the other venues that we visited nearby. A fabulous few days in North Lake Tahoe that we plan to experience again."

"The room was really wonderful, spacious and with lots of character. My only gripe is that you have to check in at the Crystal Bay Club Casino next door which isn’t convenient and detracts from the historic ambiance of the Border House itself…"
