"I was very happy with the place, and I will stay here again. The bed I slept on was beyond comfortable; I actually woke up the next day completely rested and relaxed. The room was very nice, and the location is excellent. With all the said, the hotel is old, and they are doing a lot of remodeling. But the room (once you get inside), bathroom, staff and location make up for a few of the little nuisances which I won't even bother complaining about. "

"I really enjoyed my stay here, it was a clean place, the front desk was polite and nice. I hope to stay here again the next time I am in Truckee. This is not a town where reasonable lodging can be found, so I appreciate that there are places you can stay that are clean, safe, and you still have money to spend on shopping and eating out."

"The staff is excellent - friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is a very short drive or bike ride to downtown Truckee/ They also have a few bikes you can borrow for a leisurely ride along a bike trail not too far from the hotel."

"Perfect location right next to the beach, many shops & restaurants within walking distance. There is good size area to hang out right by pool and play area. Rooms were clean and ours had a kitchenette. Overall a good place to stay, we will definitely return."
