"A lovely place to stay"

"It was lovely"

"Fantastic hotel with fantastic service! Our room with the semi-open air barh was wonderful, and the private onsen was lovely. The food was spectacular! We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back!"

"Beautiful rooms, friendly staff. A bit far from the train station, shuttle service could be improved, but taxis are not too expensive"

"Very nice hotel with a great location!"

"The Yunomori onsen ryokan was one of the best places I've ever stayed at. The Kaiseki breakfast and dinner was incredible and the staff were 10/10 amazing. We had an in-room onsen and it was perfect. The entire place was clean and incredibly cozy. I would absolutely recommend Yunomori to anybody! It's a short walk to Yuno Lake nearby and also some beautiful waterfalls. I highly recommend this place to stay in Nikko. It was a very special experience for us. "

"I think very few gaijin go this far out. Some of the communication was difficult but the staff tried really hard and we enjoyed the stay Hard to navigate getting to and from major stations and it snowed one day at end of March Overall I’m glad we did it for the experience to be immersed in Japanese culture. Stay here for a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere, home-style Japanese meals shared with guests, excellent public hot spring, and a location within walking distance of major historical sites and Tobu Nikko Station. If you want conventional beds, private bathrooms, or the flexibility to come and go whenever you please, look...

"Convenient location for walking to the shrines, etc. The Annex is located a bit further than the first Turtle Inn, but is still a lovely establishment. Kind staff. "

"Walking distance to lake, waterfall, and national park. Relaxing and serene atmosphere."
