"I had a hard time finding this property. I went to a wrong place and met a local that helped communicate with a staff. Few minutes after, one of them came walking to find me. I really enjoyed this place. It’s not too far from the shrine and downtown area. Amenities are excellent and lovely staff"

"An excellent hotel. The front desk staff are very polite, and the room design is comfortable and well thought out. The bedding is of high quality—especially the silky-smooth sheets, which you can tell are not your average standard. There’s also a large dining table next to the lobby for guests to enjoy drinks, thoughtfully equipped with tableware, paper plates, a small oven, and a microwave. Although it’s a bit of a distance from the city center, it’s best to drive if possible."

"I really enjoyed my stay at FU SHA Nikko Cottage. The host, Yoshiko, was friendly and very helpful. Yoshiko picked me up from the train station when I arrived in Nikko and dropped me off at the station when I departed. She provided me with maps and useful information on hiking in Nikko National Park. The cottage is small, comfortable and located a short walk from Toshogu temple, Rinnoji temple, and Futarasan shrine. Yoshiko provided bread, jam, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, and juice every morning for breakfast. The cottage is simple, comfortable, and I definitely recommend staying here as it’s good value for money."

"Property was beautifully equipped in the kitchen and for entertainment. The private "onsen" of the bathroom was phenomenal. It had a sauna, a cold plunge and mineral spring bath all together. Was not really convenient to town but only a kilometer out. Check was terrible as they do it all remotely and the system was down. I tried several times to check-in on their tablet. I then video called via their tablet and he couldn't do it after 15 minutes. They then emailed me 3 more times about it, a bit annoying. Check out is early and exact we were walking to the door at 10am as she was knocking on the door."
