"We went for this place to enjoy the beach, beach resort - this was a wellness spa and the beach is messed up with port construction- a massive part of the beach is gone. They need to make people aware of this, I would not recommend this as a beach resort - it is a wellness resort - the fact that it is on the beach is just - wrong advertising. "If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! This is by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Every single member of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble—they were always smiling, kind, and happy to help with anything we needed. The restaurant staff were exceptional, providing outstanding service and making every meal a wonderful experience. The housekeeping team were incredible, keeping our room spotless every day and making sure we had fresh towels, toiletries, toothbrushes, combs, and everything else we could possibly need. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, but it’s the amazing people who truly make this place unforgettable. Their genuine care, attention to detail, and outstanding hospitality made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. It has set a new standard for excellence, and we would happily return again and again. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special!"

"Tranquil property. Comfortable rooms but what others say about the air conditioners noise and bathrooms is true. The staff, especially restaurant were terrific. Management is aware the gym needs work. I exercise seriously and had to go to an outside facility. No more harbor construction noise. The harbor could be an eyesore if you want natural ocean views. But it had its own charm. Management really cares about your satisfaction."

"Had a wonderful 1 night stay in gokulam grand in kovalam. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Service was fantastic. Our room was very clean and well maintained. My only criticism is that the activity room could be maintained better. Only the table tennis, foosball and pool table were somewhat usable. The tv didn't work, no proper board games and AC didnt work either. "
