"Chakra cottage had aesthetic interiors and very spacious even for a couple with small kids. Seeing sunrise in the lake from the portico was wonderful. Staff were really courteous and friendly. Spa was great too. Overall it was a lovely peaceful experience just an hour drive from Thiruvananthapuram. "

"View is good with greenery and sea . Approach to property is tough. Washrooms could be better. Breakfast was pathetic…given the money you pay. Staffs are too busy and the food is ok ok."

"It was an okay stay. I don't understand how it is a 4-star hotel. It barely makes the cut for a 3-star, let alone 4. Everything was extremely average. Food was a bit above average, and the restaurant was clean. The whole 3rd floor smelt like cigarettes, and our bedsheets and blankets did too."
