Good deal on hotel in excellent location. Close to theater district and Penn Station which made easy and inexpensive way to travel to city from Newark Airport.

The staff was extremely friendly and provided assistance with navigating the city as well as local eateries. They provided assistance with dropping off luggage and parking over the phone as we arrived to the Doubletree.

In a good central area! Room is smaller than the images portrayed Also the AC in our room did not work it kept coming on and off and stayed off mostly causing our room to be HOT! Staff came to “fix” it but that did nothing

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Doubletree. The hotel itself is very clean, safe and the staff are very welcoming and kind. The rooftop bar has great views and the rooms are small but still comfortable for 2 people. The street that the hotel is on is very central and perfect for hitting up the top tourist attractions. The only negative is that the street is quite littered and noisy which I think we would keep in mind for a future stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others for a first time visit to NYC.

Room was very small and squashy. Cleaning and changing of bed linen not done daily. We had to ask for fresh towels. The milk left for coffee is inadequate. There’s a fridge in the room. Why not leave adequate amounts of milk in the fridge instead of small long life milk that’s only enough for one cup? Your rooftop bar is a joke. The view is good but that’s about it. It’s pretentious, over priced, your barman doesn’t even make the cocktails. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and he poured it out of a slushy type machine into a glass and then expected a tip for something he did even make! That’s just so bad! The only positive I have is the doormen we’re nice. Only thing I can take away from staying at this hotel. For the price we paid it’s just not good enough! No value for money.

Our flight came really early and we were able to check in and get a room early which made a different to our whole day. Also they offered us cookies and we hadn’t had breakfast so everything felt like a relief.
