"This is a solid hotel with some quirks you should be aware of. The layout is inefficient, with restaraunts/bar, check in, and the general store on the 8th floor with a klunky elevator system. It takes a while to navigate how busy the common areas are, and simply getting to your room can take a while. It has several convention spaces, so the foot traffic is intense. That said, the room was excellent with fun views of Times Square. The service everywhere is very attentive and helpful. The fitness center is quite good, with plenty of equipment. Location relative to Times Square, subways, and access to taxis is ideal....if you like Times Square and all its trappings. If you want a more low-key hotel, look further uptown. If you want energy and action, this is a good choice."
