We had an awesome stay! Hotel is in an amazing location! Close to Times Square, Bryant Park, Rockefeller, and the 42nd Subway which takes you to all the hot spots! This is great spot if you want a clean hotel with great location. The room was very very basic and absolutely no view! But we didn’t mind because we wanted a clean hotel with great location. If that is what you want, I would highly recommend Hotel St. James!

Gives old Hollywood vibes. It’s okay for a one night stay. Window air conditioners make loud noise had to turn up tv to hear.

Our room was clean. Most of the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel has a window air conditioner so the ac is noisy and you hear a lot of outside noise such as horns and sirens. If it wasn't for an eye mask and ear plugs I wouldn't have gotten any sleep. The hotel is central to Times Square, restaurants and theaters.

The front desk staff was very friendly. My room was about what I expected for a 3-star hotel - not fancy but it was fine for me. There was some street noise, which didn’t bother me. But the walls are thin and there was a baby in the room next to me, so I slept with noise-canceling headphones. The only thing I really missed was a small table or desk. The location is great - a block from Times Square and just down the street is a Walgreens/Duane Reade. I would stay here again if I’m back in NYC.
