"The hotel is within walking distance to many must-do locations in Chicago (Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium and The Bean). Lots of good good options near by as well. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean upon arrival. The bathroom fan was not working. The main issue was the AC not working. There was not filter in the machine and it was too old/too small to properly cool the room. We had it set to 60 degrees and you wouldn't have known. Not sure if it was because of the floor we were on or what but that was the largest issue we had."

"It was unfortunate that for entire day I did not have air-conditioning in my room. The staff indicated that there was a problem with the entire hotel and the HVAC system, and that the engineer was working on it. However, the next day I found out when the engineer came to my room that whatever motor that they used to install an air conditioning unit in the room was the incorrect motor and it was never gonna work. The air conditioning unit was finally fixed and when I came back to the hotel the next day by 3 PM we had air-conditioning. The hotel indicated that they were going to reimburse us for the first night. Stay to the amount of $389 and that they would be contacting Expedia since that is where I booked the original trip through. Therefore, I’m just waiting for a refund for my first night which the hotel told me was $389."

"The hotel was amazing and a great location. The one disappointing thing was the staff and the hotel process. My reservation was to pay at the time of check in but the hotel decided they wanted to charge my payment method the night before without my knowledge. This led them to cancel my reservation because they couldn’t secure payment. Luckily, things were resolved at the front desk. Just let the customer know that is what you are going to do before doing it."
