We staying at this property and the experience was incredible! The property, the food, the bar, the rooms everything was great!! It’s in a great location super close to the beach. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants and things to do. The staff were always super helpful. I will just say the overall experience was absolutely worth it especially with is being our first time in Chicago. I would absolutely stay at the hotel again!!

I just like this hotel and stay there when I need to pay to stay in Chicago. Location is great. Love the history of the building and the fact that it housed the Pump Room. Photos of all of the celebrities, Rat Pack to Brat Pack, in the restaurant and bar provide hours of amusement!

We going to the beach, so this was super convenient the rooms were spacious for the price. Nice big bathroom. The staff was excellent. The bar was great and the dinner and breakfast were excellent. Highly recommend.

Check-in was very easy and quick. The bathroom needs some TLC but otherwise the room is very comfortable. In the morning hours, the volume of the music in the lobby was very loud to the point where it was difficult to talk comfortably to the front desk. The renovations to this historic hotel were very well done. Overall very nice!

When staying at this hotel they did offer one dinner and 2 breakfast vouchers but I think it should be switched around due to the price , I didn't know that the dinner would be so expensive compared to what we were paying for the rooms which was a very good price , overall I 10/10 recommend staying here just had a couple issues but they were very nice and amazing service may I add !

Great location for our stay, but the "double" beds seemed even tinier than doubles, the bathrooms are old and could use a refresh- drainage in the shower was an issue, and they wouldn't refresh the room in the middle of a 4 day stay- just dropped off new sheets and towels. Lobby is nice, and the restaurant was never open the weekdays of our stay. I really wanted to love this hotel as it has a lot of history for me, but it came up a bit short.

Contrasted with prior hotel management the hotel has taken on a starkly modern room appearance. Everything is functional if less warm. I believe this is to accommodate its pets welcome policy. You will find lots of people staying here with their furry friends as a result.
