Excellent part of Istanbul with plenty of street life with cafes, restaurants and shops everywhere in all the side streets.
An easy walk to Tram 1 to get to ferries.
Also a short walk to the main shopping area of Istiklal up to Taskim Square.
It’s a party area with bars and live music so can be loud. Otherwise a great stay. Loved my time in the French Quarter. "
