"It is a beautiful luxurious hotel with a superb spa. Rooms were nice and bedding very comfortable. Grey's restaurant food is average and very limited choice and overhyped but breakfast was excellent. The biggest surprise on checking out was that they charged 10% service charge on the whole bill including the room charge that was prepaid on Hotels.com. There was no warning and left a bitter taste. "

The cleanliness in the room was very good, but in the shower I noticed black mold in a few places on the grout. I personally am not allergic to the mold but many people are. Perhaps the shower area should be inspected on a weekly basis? "

Being in the market place, if you have a front facing room do expect some early morning noise from deliveries to the co-op and other shops. "Charming hotel. Every member of staff was delightful. My travelling companion’s room was very pleasant and spacious. My room was extremely small and felt cramped. The bath was extremely slippery, however a slip mat was provided but I think a warning might be a good idea. The food was fabulous. We stayed chatting in the dining room for ages but never once felt hurried. Perfectly placed for visit to Highgrove. Overall a very pleasant stay."
