"The Amberley Inn is a lovely characterful property, the staff are friendly and helpful. We had a room with a four poster bed, which was comfortable. The views of the hills and valleys was superb, with the cows wandering over the common right outside. The bathroom is a bit tired and the shower could do with updating. The breakfast was very tasty and they obviously use quality ingredients."

"All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Manager even helped us with our cases. Didn't use the bar or restaurant as we had other plans, but did have breakfast. The cooked breakfast was fine - have had better but many worse!!"

"Excellent central pub accommodation right next to Stroud train station. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated with a great bathroom and excellent shower. Breakfast was outstanding and the bar downstairs had a lovely atmosphere and really good menu."

"Lovely little bolt hole next to a great pub. The bed was very comfy and the shower was amazing. The outside seating is overlooked by the main road and due to roadworks it was a bit too busy with standing traffic to sit outside. The pub next door was very good and we enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast the next day."
