"Absolutely breathtaking Aparthotel with kitchen, spacious bedroom and bathroom (with Bath)… loved it! Easy access with code to room and main door. Few croissants and drinks in fridge for you + porridge sachets (so kind - thank you). Had reached out prior to staying to ask if I could leave my luggage and had no response so losing one star because of that but their communication with access etc was top. Thank you and apologies for the duvet stains - my leg got stung my nettles/ branches and unfortunately started bleeding without me realising until morning "

"A very special weekend made even better by the Stroud. A free upgrade to their best room made us feel like VIPs and a late check out too! The room was amazing, spacious, with a bathtub and separate shower room. The bed was big and comfy. The hotel made sure our room had a fan on this particularly hot weekend, drawing the curtains to try and keep it cool. Although you are next to the station and above the outside drinks area, we rarely heard anything. No trouble sleeping! Only thoughts would be a mini fridge in the room to keep our drinks cold and having to go to the bar to find reception staff due to their split roles. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Star Inn. The hospitality staff were beyond hospitable-Very attentive to us. We could have used a fan as it was warm but other than that very comfortable beds and clean rooms. The dinner menu of Greek food is very nice and of all the full English breakfasts we had on our Cotswold tour this was stood out to us and the absolute best one. There’s a lovely outdoor area for drinks or nibbles and a wonderful crowd of friendly locals. We loved it!"

"My husband and I stayed at the Mill House Cottage for 3 nights. When I booked the cottage I had great communication via Expedia and was informed that 24 hours prior to check in I would receive check in instructions by email but I never did. I finally called them directly at which point the representative emailed the instructions to me with a google maps link to the property location since the homes do not have street numbers in that area. The google map link took us to a location about a mile from the cottage but we drove around and eventually found it.The parking is very tight & in front of the only door to the cottage. there were issues that made our stay unpleasant: the hot water tank is in the bedroom near the foot of the bed. It beeps, turns on a blue light, and flushes periodically throughout the day and night and woke us up repeatedly every night as the cottage is otherwise completely quiet. Additionally the fire alarm above the bed has a light that flashes continually which isn’t noticeable until one is in the dark. In the bathroom there is only a tub, no shower, and there was no towel bar or hooks for the bath towels, only one short bar for the two hand towels. There was no tub mat or bath mat and both floor and tub were very slippery when wet. Lastly, per instructions we took the garbage to the outside bins upon departure but found them overflowing with no room for much more. We cannot recommend due to lack of local management to assist with these types of issues."
