"Sept 2026. Stayed overnight during our annual trip to Cali. An excellent, inexpensive, and safe business travel hotel in the Los Altos/Mountain View area. Business travel hotel. This isn't the Mandarin in San Francisco. It's an older hotel with some signs of age, but my room was completely updated and functional with a warm beige theme that was a good place to relax after a stressful day. The bathtub and toilet room was extremely tight as a sign of when it was built. I can just imagine the carpenters thinking, 'wow indoor plumbing.' Staff was extremely friendly. I had to stay twice for several days amounting to almost two weeks to complete my business, and the staff were very accommodating and considerate. Breakfast is quite perfunctory and repetitive. I suggest a waffle maker - maybe one in the shape of Texas with some real syrup. That would be a great addition. Maybe on weekends."

"The first thing I want to say about Hotel Avante was how pleasant the staff were to deal with… Five stars! Very nice and accommodating people that really made my stay even better. Room was clean and the whole hotel was nicely, decorated and appointed. I highly recommend it!"

"The place was a lot nice than I expected and a lot cleaner. They even turn over your room every day, which was surprising. Parking can be a little tight, but the rooms are quiet even being right on el camino. I wish I stated here earlier."

"The room was clean, basic, spacious. Didn't hear freeway noises from the room. The property was clean and didn't feel unsafe. Adequate parking for 3/4 ton 4 door truck."

"Everything was good, except for our lock on our door had to be replaced because it was not opening from the inside to go outside. But contacted Front Desk they had Maintenance come out right away and take care of it so that was excellent. I gave a two star for amenities just because they’re remodeling them. Also, it asked how the amenities were for me, but I was just there on business."
