"Worth every cent paid for the 2 nights stay. Room and sevice was above expectation and keiseki meals were comparable to high end restaurants and a lot of privacy with the option to have it in the room. Strongly recommended!!"

"Highly recommend this hostel for anyone staying around the Fuji area! As soon as I arrived, I was welcomed by the friendly staff, who all spoke English. I was shown a tour of the hostel which was helpful and got to choose which bed to stay in (tip - don't sleep next to the dehumidifier, it's got a constant hum, the hostel is not to blame for this!). Michael was very helpful when providing info and tips about climbing Mount Fuji, without his guidance I wouldn't have been able to climb. Nice and...

"You need to make a reservation at the hotel in advance if you would like to eat there. Otherwise there are a lot of nice places around the lake. "

"Clean and big room. I booked a room with no Mount Fuji view but was surprised in the morning when I opened the window and Mt Fuji was there to see and what a view it was. Staff were very helpful and respectful. Onsen was free to use."

"The staff has been extremely Cooperative and helpful. Locality is good. A bit old traditional - but having traditional sometimes is good to have. Some language barrier is there, which they can overcome by having use of technology."

"This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."
