"Makes the night before and day of boarding the cruise easy. Just roll off the ship to the other ship. Worth the extra $ for the convenience and I recommend to any cruisers. We were a group of 6 and not having to lug our luggage around and load into Ubers was so worth it. The room was clean. They are updating and I have to say I am disappointed they are going so modern. The remodel does not match the ship and would be better to keep the old wood. Or wallpaper that matches time period of the ship. Whoever’s idea it was to do the poor remodel choices should be fired. Food choices are limited at the hotel but you can uber to shops and restaurants nearby for about fifteen . The staff was nice and helpful. The room was ok. We have stayed before and the room was old beautiful wood and it made the stay amazing. To see the history of the ship in the room itself. "

"Stayed in room 306 perfect visibility to the ocean. Enjoyed listening to the ocean waves at night and watching sunrise on the patio with dolphins jumping close to shore. This is the absolute perfect bed and breakfast. The hospitality of homemade “pancakes” pastry juice and coffee every morning is comforting. I will be back to sunset beach soon. Peaceful at night. Quiet in the mornings to regain your zen and peace of mind. Thank you again OCEAN SURF INN I truly love your place and the Misses for her yummy breakfast. 💕💕"

"Clean room "

"We got to the hotel after dark and it was NOT at all what we had expected. The room that we were put in was at an end located on the bottom floor behind a restaurant or some other business establishment. Their back door was open lots of boxes around. Parked Cars with motors running and our door hidden behind a large hedge bush. For me and my Mom to get to our room we walked across the parking and felt nervous and cautious. Once in our room, the room was not very clean. It was old and run down which was fine, but the corners and floors weren't clean as well as the bathroom floors and corners. The door didn't seem very secure but I tested it and it was. We almost left, but it was just for one night and it was already late, so we stayed. The bed was actually comfortable. The next morning, when we left to get breakfast and it was bright outside, we realized that it actually wasn't that bad. I think that if we had been in a better location more central and not at an end behind that business and hedge where we felt more comfortable it would have been a lot better. The staff were very kind, breakfast was good. I don't want to say it was horrible, I just had higher expectations of a cleaner, safer feeling traveling as two women. I tried to be careful booking and thought this was a safe choice. Would I stay here again? Probably not, I would spend the extra money to stay somewhere where I knew for sure it would be clean and I would feel safe."
