"Fantastic place for a family weekend in Monterey. Parking onsite was easy and near our room. Quiet area within easy access of all Monterey downtown spots and beach access points. Text-based room access and housekeeping was awesome. "

"First & will def go back. The gentleman in the parking lot & valet parking had a warm welcoming. Short walk to the wharf was great. One suggestion is for coffee shop to have recycle cups so we don’t have to go Starbucks across the street. "

"They have a great parking structure directly underneath the hotel with elevator access which made it convenient and safe to park. The hotel walkability to downtown was awesome, short walk to coffee shops, bakery, Trader Joe’s, and the farmer’s market on Tuesday. The room was simple but with all the amenities one would need for a comfortable night, plenty of lights and outlets, comfortable bedding. The mattress was good for me, not so much for my husband. For the price, we felt it was a good place to stay. "

"Parking was great, the ac was nice and cold, check in was super easy, staff was so sweet and helpful, and the water pressure in the shower was perfect! It was a little far from things (around a 40 minute walk to the aquarium while walking at a kids pace) but we didn’t mind the walk, but my only reason for lowering my rating is that one of the two beds smelled heavily of urine. I don’t want to be too critical because you can honestly tell that the staff put a lot of effort into making things enjoyable for their guests, and this might’ve just been an unfortunate thing. We had brought our own sheets and Lysol, so we shrugged it off, but I thought I should mention it."

"Clean room, nice location. Expected a better view , fireplace would make a clicking sound while on and fire would go out. Tv (we had Netflix on) would pause every 10 min. Beds were on the smaller side. Probably wouldn’t stay again. "

"There was a nice breakfast offering. The bed was not very comfortable. They gave us a log to burn, which was fun to do. The room often smelled like smoke and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t because of the log we burned. The room looked like it could use some work. Marks on the walls, missed hanger for towel on the back of the bathroom door. The bathroom had a heater which was nice. I wouldn’t stay here again. "
