Had an issue with toilet being clogged, no maintenance was available until 10:30am, after we were checking out, had to use lobby bathroom which was not so clean, mainly floors. Overall plumbing seems poor, water pressure in sink and shower very poor. Seems like remodeled old motel, but kept the old toilets, even in lobby. I asked reception if there was any compensation for our trouble, but just said they would get maintenance to our room as soon as they showed up at 10:30 for work. Worst IHG facility I've visited, but also the most expensive at $300 for a night. Hot breakfast marginal, but as expected in my experience at HI Express.

This was so expensive for what it was. The room was on the first floor and had huge windows onto the walkway did not make us feel comfortable or private. The shower was gross and the bed was really small. The main room was clean. The room when we entered was too cold to be in because the heat was broken so we were given a room change easily which was nice but inconvenient.

The common areas need a face lift. A big face lift. Beds were good, sheets clean. The carpet was thread bare and needs to be replaced. The staff is what saved the hotel. They were excellent.

Small room, the vending machine was broken and there were no ice machines, towels were miserably rough and only two provided despite booking the room for 4. Shower didn’t drain well, and of course the water pressure was lacking. The room itself was clean, but there were smashed cookies on the ground outside our room the whole stay. Between the laundry and the pool all you could smell was chlorine bleach, despite being right near the ocean. Sucks to pay $350 per night for a motel, I’ve stayed in much nicer holiday inns that were proper hotels.
